:th Z32 has nothing to do with either. :If anything - the lineage of the Z32 travels directly to the G35, which was one of the original design proposals put forth for the Z33 & was also designed by Toshio Yamashita. His concept was not chosen for the Z33, but he went on to design the front end of the G35 and later the coupe followed. :The vertical headlight design from the Z33 prototypes / G35 production were carried over into the R35 cars. :There was a twin turbo study done for the G35, but it was shelved due to cost and personnel changes. The prototype of that car sits today in the JWT parking lot (they did the prototype work for Nissan USA), unregistrable because it has never been a registered car. :So :R32->R33->R34->R35 S13 -> S14 -> S15 : / :S30 -> S31 -> Z31 <------------------------Z33 -> Z34 _ Z35 : \ : Z32 -> G35 -> G37 -> Q50 / Eau Rouge :Of note, Toshio Yamashita was the designer of the R33 update, R34, Z32, Z33 concept that inspired the G35 & G35, as well as the S14 & S14a : :Thats just the reality of what happened. The Z & R chassis have nothing to do with each other.
